A Blog Update about KeriBlog

Here’s stuff from the last week-ish.  I usually do these posts on Sunday, but missed this week, so in no particular order…

Did some home renovations.

It’s that thing from Ikea, it holds plastic bags. Plastic to hold plastic.

This week’s flowers.

I don’t know their name, but they’re my other carnations: colourful, hearty, and cheap.

Don’t I look grown up.

What’s happening there? I need a hair curling lesson, that looks wrong.

These were emailed to me, they are official photos from that ‘Swarovski & James Bond’ launch I attended, where 3 of my favouite things were brought together: jewellery, spy stuff and cars.

Big Keri laugh.

Been playing a lot of pool recently; it’s a pretty cyclical thing.

It could probably be charted in a bar graph, using my blog posts.

Here’s my disembodied head, stating something obvious.

It’s early to be wearing down, but I am always very cold, and woah the cold has arrived early this year.

Lots of events the second half of this week, including a tech conference, the ACC on Friday with TELUS for We Day – kids being encouraged to learn and be charitable to their community yup I can get behind that, and Thursday night is an Acura event I’ve been looking forward to.

Have a great Wednesday, see you on online!

OH! My weekly car rant, ‘Keri on Driving’, probably runs tomorrow. I wrote about dirty cars this week.

If I Wore Printed T-shirts, I Would Wear These

Ever notice I’m always in the same T-shirt, plain and light grey? For 5 years and one million photos?

I never wear printed anything, no logos, no sayings, I like blank best.

Once they wear out, pill or shrink, I Sharpie sayings onto the front, and wear them around home.  Then I save them into a vacuum-sealed bag, that I’ve moved with 9 times anyway, so I can one day make a video called, “My 10 Grey T-shirts”, not joking.

But if I wore printed T-shirts, I’d wear these.

Ha.

To be clear, these would be worn ironically.

The ‘was‘ is why it’s funny.

Sometimes I buy them to give away, and live vicariously.

If you were to recieve a T-shirt gift from me, the presentation would look like this:

That is slated for the mail Monday morning. That is also a test, to see how regularly the recipient reads my blog. Bit of an unfair test though, because he’s on dial-up.

Got this as a gift years ago, funny eh.

But onward with plain gray.

9000 Tweets for KeriBlooooog

The tweet was about time, definitely an obsession of mine, oh time.

That’s 3 years, 10 months and 24 days ago.

Specifically, at 11:12 am.

That’s approximately 191 Tweets/month, or, 6/day.

Here’s a cloud created from my most Tweeted-about topics:

The age of my account would be considered early-adopter, but that is not a lot of Tweets for that length of time, not at all.

In real life I speak very little, meaning, 9,000 is a lot of talking for me.

I’ve never liked small talk, I’m quite quiet, and I can make it through entire dinner parties without speaking.

I’ve loved Twitter longer than any other social media anything, always find me fastest online there @KeriBlog, and never Facebook; I feel the opposite about that site.

Twitter launched new headers this week, mine looks like this now:

Here’s the close-up:
