At the Dentist

Here’s a rarely-seen point-of-view.

I’m missing a set of teeth; my head was too small so they were pulled out.

Between these photos, and the x-rays I blogged, and my pre-braces teeth molds, should I ever need to be identified by teeth, done.

Those are the most grinded teeth you’ll see in a very long time.

So bad the dentist is making me a sleeper-mouth-guards, because “you have the grinding of someone +40 years, Keri”.

Not good, guys.

I’m going to have learn better stress management.

Or go back to beating up bums at night.

Go Gens Go

It’s a fun departure.

This view is from a table, neat eh: eat dinner while watching the Oshawa Generals.

Saw some fights.

But the best part of an event, is this.

“That feeling from 6,000 people, screaming with happiness.”

I Predict the Trend ‘Minimalism’ is Coming

Remember a bit ago, when I said I’d “achieved a new level of Minimalism”… ?

This is it. Less less less.

I unlocked a new level of non-attachment.

Because if I removed that handful of documents *…

And my lanyard collection

And fridge collection

Tada!   It’d be tough to figure out who lives here.

It gets addictive, purging. Remember that time in 2011, when I gave away all my belongings in my “Emporium”? It’s escalated ever since.

However!

What do 2/3 of the above things have in common?  Ego.  Ego will get you busted you every time.

(of course my knapsack couldn’t be there, then game over. It’s my everything, as blogged)

I predict a Minimalism Trend will start soon, this spring.

I think everyone is sick of owning so much stuff, because that stuff needs a lot of care, time, maintaining, dusting, insuring, and really, never brought all the happiness it was supposed to.  Less is more is coming.

Blog category = Predictions

* that ‘handful of documents‘ are things I’m behind blogging, including 6 car reviews, sorry guys; and my ‘Talking with Trustwave’ security interview series from… October; I know, sorry guys.

Quick Post of Miscellaneousness

This week’s car is a 2014 Ford Escape.

This week’s car is going to have better-than-usual blog photos.

My laptop and I, going around the city.

Stopped by an eBay party at the Hazelton.

They put on a great Mother’s Day Collective: unique gift ideas, made by up-and-coming Canadian artists, that eBay lends a hand up to.  That’s Monique Chan’s “Radiant Necklace” by her studio MoonRox, $70, here’s the link.

Bottom pic: good camera-awareness, missy.

Will work from wherever.

Last week’s car, next week’s blog review – Ford’s 2014 Fusion.

I’m liking that collage, that may be my new format for the sidebar ‘This Week’s Car’…

My column printed today – Fuel Economy Ratings get a Dose of Reality.

And confirmed: it’s a pretty impossible fit, the backseat of an F-TYPE.
