Me and Ford and the LA Autoshow

I met Ford back in the summer when I test drove their new Focus for a day, the one that…. parks itself. No really, watch:

Then back in July my car broke down on the highway out of town. I’d tweeted as much from the side of the road, and Ford messaged me back they were sending me a car to Kingston so I could get home safe.

They sent me this Lincoln, which is their higher end line of cars. It’s an MKX and people on the street tell you you’re “ballin” when you cruise around.

And since then we’ve been pals, and just yesterday returned to them their 2012 Focus.

Really glad to be here Ford, thanks eh :)

Here is your clue:

Think like me, there’s more than enough information here to reveal its location, think like a spy…

I’ll update this by the day’s end to reveal how and where, good luck!!

(I’m driving a Jetta GLI )

UPDATE:

I gave you the art’s location through…. EXIF data – the information that comes attached to a photo when you have your GPS turned on and take a photo.

Click here to see where I uploaded the photo to Google, look on the right, there’s a map pinpointing where the photo was taken.

Here’s a closer look at geo-location data that came from the photo:

I leave my turned off, always, and suggest you do too before posting a photo online.

Smarten Up, Internet.

I’m Mobile Again

Thanks for the wheels, Chevrolet!

It’s their just-released Sonic – their hyrid car. Which has much more pep and pickup than you’d expect.

And Chevy knows me well, they gave me a manual car YA buddy, it’s great to be shifting again and making the engine rawwwwar out of the corners.

Here’s the interior.

Nice and simple, not too many bells and whistles, which I don’t like and think are superfluous.

If I were to buy a new car I’ll be saying no thanks to things like backing-up cameras and GPS. I can back up just fine with my eyes, and I don’t wish to be tracked.

I was at Chevrolet’s event in Dundas Square last week, they launched three new cars day… the Sonic, Orlando and their electric car, the Volt.

It was also a big day in internet history too, they streamed live all day to the homepage of YouTube, and for a minute I was on it, neat eh! Casie and I were interviewed about driving the the Volt. Unfortunately neither of us have footage of it, lesigh.

Things From My Week

My Acura TSX has been performing great, it’s has a hidden speed and zip, very me.

Of course I took it to Cherry Beach, you know I love that place.

Watch this guy front flip over an Acura.

Also.

I went to a Lomography party at the Queen Street store.

Lomography is a world-wide big trend happening right now… it’s analogue film photography. Think like in olden times… film, developing the film, view finders….

I really like the “one take one chance” aspect, I built the Canadian Explorer around that premise, but I don’t know about the developing the film part, and remember my rant?  About HD and Tape Editing It really picks up there at the end.

The cold is coming.

Man my hair looks great Brennen, I think this is your best one yet.

I need to clean my stove.

  1. my fanciest USB key, a Swarovski lock. See it in the sidebar on my other blog (soon)
  2. that’s what we’re going to solder when we go learn how to solder next week for Keri On Security
  3. my toothbrush/lipgloss everyday purse bag. It’s NellaBella, you’d like their stuff, made here in Toronto
  4. see that larger here
  5. a Pentium I wear as a pendant
  6. tiniest Big Mac ever
  7. my camera, an Olympus Stylus Tough – you can stand on it, it’s waterproof, 12 Mpx

Outfits from this week.

Outfit from Suzy photoshoot last weekend, which I can’t wait to show you, which I’m still not allowed to, sometime in October she said.

Here’s to a great Monday and start to your week! TTYS xo

An Acura for TIFF, Allllll Right

I picked it up yesterday, hi from Honda HQ in Markham. Don’t we match well?  YA buddy.

We drove out, that’s Alen, Reggie and Mark and me. It was Reggie’s birthday, neat eh.

There we met our new friend, security guard Joe, hi pal! Welcome to my blog.

It’s an Acura TSX Performance Sedan. It’s good and unassuming, with great pick up.

Picked up bff Casie and we flew around downtown to the Four Seasons and back.

It’s gonna be a great week, thanks again Acura.
