I love its simplicity. I love how it’s analog.
I love that what little digital exists is the olden-times, green 8-bit type.
Clusters like this won’t exist for much longer, with everything moving towards all-digital.
It belongs to a 2016 Jeep Wrangler.
I know I said this instrument cluster was my favourite, but that was before I had this Jeep for a week.
Its whole interior is refreshingly functional and ergonomic.

Since then it’s been a lot of pacing, and sitting quietly like above, daydreaming. Somehow the world’s best-suited job just fell on my LinkedIn.
Remember when I gave myself 4 months, from quitting the paper to finding new revenue? Skin of my teeth, I was in the final week when I shook hands… and it’s like a real job guys, physical real business, and the pay is amazing.

I have a giant post drafted about the job, but am having trouble focusing these days… from initial contact to landing the job was fast, and in 10 days I flipped my life upside down. That’s why my blog has been dark, sorry.
I start on Monday, the job requires a lot of driving OKAY, comes with a car OKAY AGAIN, I’m now “business casual” those are new clothes in the photos!, and not sure how I got so lucky guys, but 2016 just got real exciting.

Above is the only gift I gave this year. Pretty ornament, it’s from… Canadian Tire?! I know eh, $4.49, some stores will be open tomorrow if you need a last-minute seasonal something.
I love the Christmas-time Energy… everywhere is lit up and excited, and the frazzled energy of a mall – that’s quality people-watching – people are happier than usual, and the energy from a collective sigh there’s a few days off work.
