140 is 245 is 4 is 2

Been looking forward to doing this math for years!

I can now because of this spreadsheet, a list of all videos on KeriBlog.com.

140 videos, a total of 245 edited minutes,
4 hours, or 2 feature length movies

Plus there’s the same amount over on The Canadian Explorer, and that video even has an editing style.

So by my math, I’ve edited the equivalent of 4 movies.

Tiiiiis the Season for Natural Disguises

Fa-la-la-la-laaa lala get some.

It’s a Christmas wreath, obscuring the licence plate.

Jokes aside, scammers love this time of year.  People’s hearts are more giving and trusting than usual, because tis the season, and that makes is easier to prey on them.

Stay wary during the holidays… careful what you click, because phishing emails and social media scams; people canvasing for “charity” on the street, and on the phone; you get what I mean.

Pump Up Your Fuel Knowledge

What’s the difference between 87 and 94 octane, and does it even matter? Yes, big time.

A luxury engine should only be fed premium gas, while conversely, there’s no point in putting it into a base model, the engine isn’t designed to take advantage of it.

Read it online at Autonet.

Favourite line:

Cheap gas in a good engine will make it sluggish, and the engine will vocalize its displeasure by emitting a knocking sound.. you’ll be broadcasting an air of cheapness.

Sorry Sorry

I’m drowning in deadlines, and taxes, and end of the year stuff, sorry, not doing this to bug you.

Column printed today, picking up a car for the holidays this afternoon (a Chrysler 300!), have a few videos here to publish, and tons of blog posts, but newspaper deadlines and taxes before blog is all sorry, coming soon.

Fast Update that’s a Bit Boring

Catching you up quickly, but you haven’t missed much, it’s been a heads-down kind of week, nothing that exciting has happened to me.

It’s been productive, but boring.  Maybe they’re related.

Wednesday I picked up a Ford Fiesta… ST!

Non-car nerds: ST is the turbo version, only comes in manual, almost double the torque of the regular Fiesta.

Yes it got really cold here in TO in the last week-ish, but it’s Canada, it’s expected. Please stop whining, everywhere whiiiining.

Here’s an old video, “Why Canadian Winters are Awesome”

It has to be something.

This week’s best night of the week Thursday, was this:

Dull agenda, but least they’ll be done, and that feels great.

I don’t mind paying taxes, it’s the doing I don’t like.

Is there anything more boring…
calculate receipts, add 15 cents multiply by HST,
how much did I spend on parking in March,
who even cares, this is the worst.

Friday felt weird, didn’t it. Like, everyone tucked into a secret anger cocoon, was glad when the day was done.

Taxes will take a bit, will blog next in a few.

Have a great weekend! After this, there’s only 2 left in 2013.
