Sorry For the Un-Updated Yesterday

Been crushing my keyboard, just not with public stuff.

It’s a challenge juggling blog jobs… keep it afloat with content, keep it afloat with logistics, planning and executing, travel, maintaining a steady internet connection, physical maintenance of my tools , this thing is supposed to make money how, and that’s not even the tip of the iceberg.

I love it.

This is neat: if you watch TV in the Toronto area,

it likely comes through here, Telesat,

down in my beloved Cherry Beach.

Stay clear of these for a while too, the ‘Service Ontario’ kiosks, they were hacked today.

Cleaning up an identity theft is far more involved than a credit card; use a human teller until they get their machines secured.

Also – change your LinkedIn password… they were hacked Tuesday.

Me Today & Me Yesterday

Great action shot, eh.

It’s SO NICE to be shifting again, I haven’t since the fall.

Thanks for the PEN, Olympus.

Hope you had a great #ThursdayNight, best night of the week!

Get out there and crush your Friday, TTY on Twitter.

What the Florida Keys Looks Like

Neat filter on my photos, don’t you think.

I did it at the camera level with my PEN, it’s called “Pop Art”.

Florida has the best mini-putt courses.

The people who built the bridge to the Keys from the mainland, they lived on this little island in 1910.

The really really long bridge is here, the 7 Mile Bridge.

The one they blew up in the Shwartzenager movie , ‘True Lies’.

Manatees are the cutest.

Nickname: Sea Cow.  An un-official mascot of the Keys.  Everybody loves a Manatee.

It’s sad though, when you see them with chewed-up fins and gouges in their backs; they often swim too close too boats.

It’s not their fault, they’re too dumb to know better.

It’s the kind of place you can still leave your doors unlocked.

People don’t litter, people are friendly and funny, it’s safe, and all the nature is fiercely protected.

If you get to visit here, don’t be a d-bag.

48 Hours in South Beach, My Mifi Crashed, Hi from the Florida Keys

Preparing the area to film.

An explorer forever.

It’s a fanny pack.

It’s an Olympus PEN.

The Good Photos Around Here are by Olympus

Olympus heard about my trip south, so they

stocked me up with cameras… thanks guys, a LOT!

It’s their new Olympus PEN Series. Think the quality and changeable optics of an SLR, but little and portable. Mine’s the E-PL3.

The accessories are endless, click here. It comes with a light out of the box, you carry in it that little velvet case, chic.

I really want this external microphone, because the PEN does video too. You click the red button at any time and boom, you’re recording video.  That is key, because you never miss what you’re trying to capture, since that’s the point.

First lens I’ve ever had.

First camera I’ve ever had that clicks aloud.

It has filters built in, in the “Art” setting.

This will reduce my blogging time,

And make more fun photos more fun to look at.

Everyone is winning here today!

I have no idea how to use a lens, and look how crisp my photos still are.

They also upgraded my 2009 Olympus TOUGH – waterproof, freeze proof, sand proof, does video at 1280×720, flash of course, and here’s the best part: you can stand on it  :O

No joke, technically two of me could stand on it and it’d still work.  That’s why I bought one in the first place; I’m hard on stuff.

Thanks for kitting me out, Olympus!
