Learned how to Weld

Yesterday I wrote the news (the Cadillac CT6’s new security system), then blew off the afternoon to do this.

I’m making a guy.

Above are his origins.

Below is a new blog header.

Learned to use 3 machines in total.

Sparks, blades and smashing things with a hammer, I’m into it.

Here we go.

My first weld!

So. Excited.

Almost done…

This post makes it so easy to use one of my favourite words:

I am anthropomorphizing the heck out of this guy.

Don’t you just want to hug him? I know.

Tada!

I was going to place him at my front door, to welcome guests, but he may be too cute to put outside.

Been Spending 300% More Time Outside

Never in the city was I close to outside this much in a winter. Like a good chunk of Sunday afternoon was outside, which included a Nerf competition.

Even busted out my big boots.

Here’s the #BenefitOfBlogging – I can link back to when I  bought those boots in… 2007. Same for my winter coat in 2008.

I can link up how that coat makes me look like Black SpongeBob, and my solution for winter blues.

Or here’s a video video from March 2011:

Why Canadian Winters are Awesome

You knew this was coming.

Flashlight Defeats Camera

Overload a lens with light, and it freaks out and basically goes blind.

Flashlight beats camera keriblog

That’s why you see celebrity’s bodyguards pointing flashlights into cameras, they’re preventing photos from being taken.

Shovelling Animated

Living downtown, I saw snow like twice a winter, and used the underground city instead. Today I returned to 2 feet of it.

I enjoyed it, so simple and immediate, the opposite of writing and blogging – move snow from here to there, go.  Plus doing this for the next 3 months phft, let’s get country strong.

Cause woah, snow weighs a lot eh.

Now to add a photo that makes it clear I travelled today.

It scented the whole lobby.

World’s best backpack.

Good trip, good to be home.

I won.

And the end, because it’s now neighbour-beer-&-catchup time, have a good weekend xo TTY Monday.
