A Clever Infotainment System Design

The screen, the centre stack, all designed to be operated while wearing work gloves.

It’s Ford’s 47th year of having the best-selling truck

I know :O    Ford.ca F-series

Meet F-150 Chief Engineer Jackie DiMarco, who is in charge of all the trucks.

I learned how to tow stuff with a F250, here’s a video about that.

It charges 3 iPhones no problem.

The * is my phone; I never pair my phone to any car.

This is from when I travelled to Alberta with Ford.

Car Skeleton

Other post title was: Car without its Outfit

It’s Acura’s all-new 2014 MDX.

What you’re looking at.

See the yellow? The door ring?

Yellow = the World’s Largest Piece of Hot Stamped Steel

Car with its outfit.

Here’s my MDX review.

The 2013 Hyundai Accent

2013 Hyundai Accent GLS here

Starting at $13,749
This one $18,949

1.6L 4-cyl./ 6-spd automatic, providing with Power/torque: 138 hp/ 123 lb.-ft.

Short review: loved the lack of dashboard screen; the interior is ergonomic; and it’s a sporty ride that handles the same.

Favourite line:

This is a sub-compact, not a wizard car.

HAcomeon. Wizard car.

My point is: for what it sets out to do, and at what price, the Accent does it well; any more, and you may want too much.

The Screens are Getting Smarter

It’s neat eh, the 3D.

(Skydome forever, never the R Centre)

Two cameras mounted on the front bumper.

Acura’s all-new MDX has 6 cameras, which then are stitched together, to provide a real-time 360º of the car.

These photos were taken in two 2014 luxury SUVs.

Give it a couple years, and they’ll be available in an average sub-compact.

The Most Important Part of a Car

These are brake pads.

I think the 2 most important functions of a car are, stopping and steering. So whatever part makes that happen, is the most important.

(these are go-kart brake pads; a car’s would look the same, but larger)
