Google & ‘Safer Internet Day’

When you Google’d today you saw it’s ‘Safer Internet Day, but then probably not much more about it, because it’s more of a European thing.

Still a good reminder to change a few passwords,
because when was the last time you did?

At least change email / Facebook / bank passwords. Or don’t, it’s not my identity and money.

Been Spending 300% More Time Outside

Never in the city was I close to outside this much in a winter. Like a good chunk of Sunday afternoon was outside, which included a Nerf competition.

Even busted out my big boots.

Here’s the #BenefitOfBlogging – I can link back to when I  bought those boots in… 2007. Same for my winter coat in 2008.

I can link up how that coat makes me look like Black SpongeBob, and my solution for winter blues.

Or here’s a video video from March 2011:

Why Canadian Winters are Awesome

You knew this was coming.

Parallel Parking – Me VS Machine

I first tried a self-parking system about 3 years ago, thought it was neat but un-nerving, and I declared it too slow to be helpful.

3 years later – and coincidentally in another Ford Focus – I test the system again.

Test Results – the new system is slick, and now both the speed and quality of its parking is better than a human.

Read it online at Autonet.

Favourite line:

Still, though, I think that if you can’t parallel park, and are too scared to practice and improve, you should get off the road.

Sonar works similar to radar, and here’s how that works.

Me Earlier this Week

All arms and elbows.

Thanks for the photo, Zack! MotorMouth Canada

Shoulder is burning from writing all day boy, does that ever feel ridiculous to type… like, imagine admitting that to a roofer… actually, I wouldn’t.

And with that I wish you a bon weekend!
