Had surgery yesterday, my first time.
I was under for 2 hours, my guts were sawed apart since they’d annoyingly glued themselves together, and 3 grapefruit-sized tumours were removed from my guts. I’m so skinny now! ;)
The best part is I’ll no longer be constantly tired, because this disease was sucking the life out of me… for almost a year, I’ve kept this pace of life with the equivalent of chronic fatigue syndrome. Imagine how much I can now get done ha. Oh and my surgeon wore a motorsport racing headwear in my honour awww.
Never been under anestetic before, woah it makes you stupid eh. I’m still a mouth-breather, had no idea it took so much out of you. Might not be able to race on Sunday, like I had planned.
Maybe though, because look at this below, taken right after they rolled me to recovery: perfect blood pressure PHFT, proof I heal like Wolverine.
I have 3 deadlines for Friday morning: 2 at the newspaper and 1 for SecTor, Canada’s premier security conference which is happening late October, and if you’re considering to get into the industry, should attend.
And for all my blabla above, I’m actually quite hurt, and need to go back to sleep now, so blog is on pause till Monday.
Thanks for always checking in xo
