Now _That_ was a Long Weekend
My neighbour and I kicked it off Friday night in my front yard laughing our heads off, putting the world to rights and playing YouTube DJ.
The grainy photos convey the evening’s tone.
He gave me a lawnmower, and Saturday morning I cut my lawn for the very first time using “Little Red.” A task that takes way longer than I thought it would.
Satisfying though, because it’s a task that’s polar opposite of what I usually do (type myself into oblivion.)
Sunday my neighbours took me ATVing on a motocross track (told ya I have the best neighbours.)
This Week’s Car was perfect for the occasion, too – a 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek.
Have a dedicated post about ATVing coming soon, until then here’s the short story – loved it, want more.
Of course the weekend included one of these.
To which I was a hit when I showed up with a basket of beer thanks to Bud Light #BudLightApple
Monday I meandered around and didn’t feel like documenting, so didn’t.

Writing a Country Song about Phishing
My neighbour and I started writing a country song last night.
I had a virus, now nobody emails me”
Brian: I used to talk on email all the time, but then I got a virus
Keri: what did it do?
Him: told everyone I thought they were fat
Me: snort
Him: I told them it was a virus, but no one believed it and stopped talking to me
Me: (this happens)
Ahh Thursday night, best night of the week. Bet I jacknifed 4 times, got invited to a party and was even drunk dialled, my favourite.

Why is Time Moving so Quickly in 2015?
No dramatics, it really does feel faster, no? This year is 1/3 over, already.

As IF I haven’t updated here in 5 days?! I haven’t even flown anywhere, how did those 5 days disappear like that? Sorry!
It’s Tuesday, so I’m writing the news, have a review due on Friday so that too, did you know my newspaper was purchased by another newspaper yesterday, and also yesterday was Car Swap day so daylight hours were eaten up doing that.
Along with working on the mobile version of my blog, as per Google’s upcoming algorithm change, which I am not at all happy about. Wait till you see how bad the mobile version looks, will blog the ugliness later.

Staying in Vacation Mode this Week
I’ll update a bit, but I’ve been really into vacation-mode for the first time. I even had a nap on December 27! A _nap_.
So I’m going to stay like this till next week, keep the same schedule as the rest of the world really. It’s a normal work-week over at the newspaper, and will update a bit here, but other than that, I’m waving hi from the couch and that’s that!
