Audi’s All-new 2015 A3 Sedan

Jan 6 2014

Audi has made a bold move, and retired the vehicle that accounted for 20% of its total sales – the hatchback A3.

Read my full review on Autonet.ca

“This A3 is minimalistic elegance
with a hint of subtle aggression.”

I called this a “starter Audi”.

Because once you’ve become accustomed to the automaker’s simplicity and refined ride, it’s tough to leave the four rings family.

The screen disappears into the dash! I love that, because I don’t love screens.

I’ve accidentally attended a lot of launches for this car.

Left is the North American debut, at the LA Auto Show.  Right is its arrival to Canadian dealerships.

Below is the car’s world launch in Budapest, Hungary.

More about that trip here, and here’s a couple more videos – the castle, and me in the castle.

Handsome rim offerings.

I’d choose top left.

The engine is a 1.8L Direct Injection Turbo outputting 170 hp & 199 lb.-ft.  Sadly, there is no manual transmission offering.

The engine.

The all-new 2015 Audi A3 Sedan

1.8L starting at $31,100

2.0L starting at $35,900

Driving in Hungary Looks like This

Jan 6 2014

Their signage is well done, here’s a post about that.

Filmed during the launch of Audi’s all-new A3 Sedan, in Budapest, Hungary.

Here’s my review.

Here’s my sloppy form.

Dinosaurs at the Royal Tyrrell Museum

Jan 2 2014

At the end is a Triceratops head I’m petting.

The Royal Tyrrell Museum in Alberta – the world’s premiere dinosaur museum and research facility

130,00+ fossils, award-winning facilities, and generates good revenue from tourism, too. The place is so well done, that other countries copy the Royal Tyrrell like a template, when they’re designing their new museum.

Located in Drumheller, Alberta and not far from Dinosaur Provincial Park, the world’s largest concentration of dinosaur bones in the world.

I’ve been there, click here.

This was filmed last spring, when I travelled with Ford to Alberta.

140 is 245 is 4 is 2

Dec 27 2013

Been looking forward to doing this math for years!

I can now because of this spreadsheet, a list of all videos on KeriBlog.com.

140 videos, a total of 245 edited minutes,
4 hours, or 2 feature length movies

Plus there’s the same amount over on The Canadian Explorer, and that video even has an editing style.

So by my math, I’ve edited the equivalent of 4 movies.

BOOM BOOM

A Fast Tour of my Car

Dec 23 2013

It’s a 1999 VW Jetta Wolfsburg edition.

2.0L outputting 115 hp and 122 ft.lbs.

280,000 km, and the heater still works amazing.

This is the stereo [video].

Here’s the blog category for this beast.
