Merry Christmas to You

Dec 25 2013

Hope it’s going as you wish xo

Every year, I embed the same 2 videos.

This ‘Canadian Explorer’ episode from 2009.

And this 2010 TwitVid, remember those?

I go around saying this all day, every year.

This year, adding to this video tradition, is a beautifully-edited tour of Allen Garden’s Conservatory Christmas display, filmed and edited by KeriBlog’s new video editor, Miles!

Then I finish off the post with this pic of Santa and I in Quebec City.

And enjoy the rest of this Christmas!

Love Keri

I get myself a gift each year:

2011 – I forgot

2012 – a dust-buster & jogging pants

2013 – humidifier and black baseball hat

Apartment living is dry.

No more accidentally shocking my laptop, omg that’s scary isn’t it, like a punch of panic straight to the chest.

Nice and crisp.

I Sharpie’d out the logo.

My Favourite Christmas Food

Dec 25 2013

Chocolate covered marshmallow Santa bars.

Specifically this brand, Russell Stover.

Find them in drugstores, about 69 cents each.

I’ve had one almost everyday since they came out in November.

Tiiiiis the Season for Natural Disguises

Dec 25 2013

Fa-la-la-la-laaa lala get some.

It’s a Christmas wreath, obscuring the licence plate.

Jokes aside, scammers love this time of year.  People’s hearts are more giving and trusting than usual, because tis the season, and that makes is easier to prey on them.

Stay wary during the holidays… careful what you click, because phishing emails and social media scams; people canvasing for “charity” on the street, and on the phone; you get what I mean.

I Shutdown ‘Keri’s Annual Christmas Extravaganza’

Dec 25 2013

I loved doing it, and loved how much I learned doing it. But, it’s a big deal, logistically and time wise, and when I sat down to get started this year, something stopped me.

I was like wait wait, what am I doing here… I don’t even really like Christmas, or contests … aside from the annual aspect, what do I even like here? Nothing. Done.

The annual part though, I’m going to morph into something, that part I love.  I can’t wait to type “The 3rd Annual Lalala”.

I’ve always wanted to throw a massive party. And give away a car, like, how I get a car to test for a week, you would too.

RIP the blog tag, ‘Keri’s Christmas Extravaganza‘.
