From All of Us at KeriBlog – Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to You!
Hope you laugh a lot, and your wishes come true.

Above is the only gift I gave this year. Pretty ornament, it’s from… Canadian Tire?! I know eh, $4.49, some stores will be open tomorrow if you need a last-minute seasonal something.

I love the Christmas-time Energy… everywhere is lit up and excited, and the frazzled energy of a mall – that’s quality people-watching – people are happier than usual, and the energy from a collective sigh there’s a few days off work.

My Christmas Press Car couldn’t be better – 2016 Cadillac ATS AWD

A 2.0 L turbo outputting 272-hp and 295 lb.-ft. Available in a V6 too, 321-hp. ATS over 3-Series.

I had it in October, and it turned out to be a “Top 3 Favourite Vehicle of 2015”. Then it was pure luck I booked it for a 2nd week, and during the holidays at that.

Every Christmas I embed the same video from 6 years ago.

From my days as ‘The Canadian Explorer,’ this is the dumbest video I’m literally laughing as I type… I’d just built a green screen studio in my condo… it was 2009, the days of the early internet and start of social media, remember then? The hum you hear is the lights, omg they’d cause me to see spots.

I get myself a gift each year:

2008 – Jawbone
2009 – Books
2010 – IronKey
2011 – I forgot
2012 – a dust-buster & jogging pants
2013 – humidifier and black baseball hat
2014 – a house
2015 – a job

Blog tag = Christmas

From you, for Christmas, I’d like one thing:

This time of year can be real sad for elderly people, so please call the oldest person you know and wish them a Merry Christmas.

And with that I’m off to a neighbour party, have a great holidays!

Who am I Kidding, I’ve Checked Out till 2016

Did your brain turn itself off too? Did you notice today everyone also felt like, grey, dragging and meh?

Do we just always forget this happens to us,
every year, at this time?

To say “here come some awesome car posts” would be lying, oh they’re coming, just not soon. I think things are going to slow down here till the New Year.

Because ok I’ll admit it – I am _wiped_.

It was my first full week with one of these, a 2016 Jeep Wrangler.

Was spoiled too it’s the Willy’s trim edition, and you bet I Jeep-waved everyone all week long.

What I realized just now…. there’s well over $500,000 in cars in this post, mwah.

What I realized this morning.

Plus these days my focus is offline, on finding a job.

The hunt is going great. Even though I feel like I should be introducing myself like, “Hi I’m Keri and I’m growing out my bangs.”

Since I published that “I need a job” post a week ago, I’ve had 3 interviews.

Above is Interview-Me on the day of the job I want the most.

Leave it with me guys, and soon enough we’ll be back to automotive fun and nonsense, and security too.

Like how security is relative (that’s my real stereo password.)

How much I like the instrument cluster on the 2016 Mazda3.

Posts about driving.

Posts about a recent personal best.

About how I’ve been directionless driving for a week, you ever do that?  To think and contemplate?  It’s effective.

How a rare, small feature on the 2016 Hyundai Tuscon makes a huge difference.

If I could drive one all the time I would – 2015 Ram Rebel.

I’ve got enough posts drafted to do a theme-week, “About the all-new 2016 Honda Civic

A week with a Top 5 Favourite – 2016 Chevy Tahoe.

Driving a 2015 BMW i8 for 30 km.

And never even told you about the Jag, maybe I’ll end the year on that review…

The all-new 2017 Jaguar XE.

Short review – Slick. Will crush its segment. AWD is standard #GoodToBeBad

1st journalist to drive it on Canadian soil ha, and autocross at that, have video.

Anyway please send good job luck!

Oh the adventures we’d get up to if it works out…  Guys. GUYS.

TTYS
